Sidebar

Mist allows you to create an sidebars and it can be easily applied to a page or post by selecting them in our Page Options. You can customize each page with a unique sidebar. Please see the steps below that how to create a sidebar and apply individual sidebar with page options.

Creating Sidebar

Navigate to Appearance in your Wordpres admin sidebar.
Click on the Sidebar option to create the sidebar.
Click on Add Sidebar button to add New Sidebar.
The sidebar name is for your use only. It will not be visible to any of your visitors.
A CSS class is assigned to each of your sidebar, use this styling to customize the sidebars.
Likewise create sidebar and show where you need.
You can use the sidebar for the following templates, such as Default Page Template, Maintenance Template, Multipage Template, Parallax Template.

Applying Individual Sidebar With Page Options.

Create a new page or post or edit an existing one.
Scroll below and you can find the Page Options box.
Click on Sidebar Tab inside Page Options box.
Sidebar includes two options - Primary Sidebar and Secondory Sidebar.
Primary Sidebar(Sidebar1) - Primary Sidebar works on two column & three column layouts.
Secondary Sidebar(Sidebar2) - Secondary Sidebar works only on three column layouts.
